A photograph starts the conversation. The full slab helps you make the choice. Compare colour, veining and movement, then ask us about the individual pieces available for your project.

Enhance Your Home's Aesthetic with Quartzite

The part of a slab you love may sit right where a sink or cooktop needs to go. Look at the whole layout before choosing: the island, waterfall ends, splashback and joins all affect how the pattern reads.

Soft, warm tones can sit comfortably alongside timber and neutral cabinetry. A more expressive slab can become the starting point for the room. Bring your finishes and drawings when you view the stone.

VANITIES, WALLS & CUSTOM DETAILS

Think beyond
the benchtop.

A vanity, tabletop or wall panel gives the pattern a different scale. Consider the visible area, basin position, edge treatment and how adjacent pieces meet.

Suitability depends on the selected stone, finish and installation. Discuss bathroom details, wall supports and any outdoor or heat-exposed application with our team and your installer before ordering.

COLOURED QUARTZITES

Explore soft greens, blush tones and grey-blue shades, alongside stronger crystalline contrasts. Compare these stones for benchtops, splashbacks and interiors, then view the full slabs to see how their colour and veining work together.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

The finish changes the feel.
Care is part of the choice.

Compare the finish

Honed surfaces have a lower sheen; polished surfaces reflect more light. See the stone in the lighting it will live with, and confirm which finishes are offered for that particular product.

StoneMart’s Taj Mahal Extra listing specifies a honed finish. Do not assume every quartzite in the collection has the same finish.

Ask about everyday care

Confirm sealing requirements and a care routine for the exact slab and finish. Use a recommended stone cleaner and ask which cleaning products to avoid.

Wipe up spills promptly, use chopping boards and trivets, and discuss staining, surface marks and repair options before making your decision. A sealer is not a guarantee against every mark.

Quartzite or quartz?

Similar names can make material comparisons confusing. This collection is listed as natural quartzite, rather than engineered quartz. Ask for the specific material information for the slab you choose.

Can I view the actual quartzite slabs?

Yes. Arrange a stone viewing at StoneMart’s Narre Warren showroom. Confirm your shortlist before visiting so we can advise on the pieces available to view.

Is quartzite suitable for a kitchen benchtop?

Quartzite is an option to consider for kitchen benchtops, islands and splashbacks. Confirm the selected slab’s suitability, finish, fabrication details and care requirements for your project.

Does quartzite need sealing?

Ask for a sealing recommendation for your particular slab and finish. Product characteristics and use can affect the care plan, so there is no single resealing schedule to assume for the entire range.

Can you supply matching slabs?

Ask about adjoining pieces and view them together where possible. Natural colour and pattern vary; matching and any bookmatched arrangement must be confirmed from the actual slabs.

Does StoneMart cut and install as well?

Yes. StoneMart has the machinery, equipment and experience to provide cutting and installation. Contact us with the project details to confirm scope and service coverage. You can also use your own fabricator.

Can quartzite be delivered interstate?

Yes. StoneMart supplies from Melbourne with interstate delivery. Provide the selected products, quantities and delivery postcode to discuss freight, timing, access and unloading before ordering.
